Privacy Policy

Hexa 2048 / Merge 2048 · Effective 22 October 2026

This policy describes how the developer of Hexa 2048 / Merge 2048, also known as 2048 Hexagon, handles information in the game and its related services. The Android package is number.games.merge2048.hexagon.puzzle. For privacy questions and requests, contact flypiggame@gmail.com.

1. Information we collect

Player and installation identifiers. The game creates an installation identifier and obtains an anonymous player identifier from our server. Our services also receive a hashed device identifier, app version, operating platform, session identifiers, timestamps and request IP address. These identifiers can link activity over time. An anonymous profile does not require your real name, but its records are not necessarily impossible to link to a device or installation.

Profiles and game records. In versions with profiles and global rankings, we collect your chosen or automatically generated nickname, selected built-in avatar and frame, and game records. Hexa 2048, Shoot 2048 and Block Puzzle rank highest scores. Water Sort ranks the number of completed levels. Choosing an avatar sends the identifier of an image supplied with the game; it does not upload a photograph from your device.

Gameplay and technical information. We collect app-use and gameplay events, such as sessions, game modes, levels, scores, play duration, progress and round outcomes. Related information can include language, regional settings, time zone, local date, app/build version, attribution channel and technical diagnostics.

Advertising information. We and advertising service providers process information about ad requests, opportunities, impressions, interactions, revenue and failures, together with advertising identifiers where available, device/network information, IP addresses, ad format, placement and advertising network. What a provider processes depends on its SDK, applicable device settings and consent requirements.

Country information. Our analytics can receive country information from your device's regional settings. Our server can also infer a country from your IP address to display a flag. The current country-lookup service is country.is; the lookup sends the IP address to that service. System region and inferred country may differ. This feature does not request GPS coordinates.

Support communications. If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send, such as screenshots and a description of the issue. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.

2. Why we use this information

We use information to operate the game; associate profiles and records with a player; display rankings; synchronize saved best results; understand gameplay and advertising performance; improve game balance; investigate technical problems; respond to support and privacy requests; and meet applicable legal obligations. Advertising providers also use information to deliver, measure and protect advertising under their policies and applicable consent requirements.

When you update and open a version that supports ranking synchronization, the game may upload your locally saved best results in the background. New records are also synchronized, and the game periodically checks previously uploaded results and retries unsuccessful transfers. Opening a ranking page is not required for this synchronization, and closing it does not disable uploads.

3. What other players can see

Your nickname, selected avatar/frame, game record, rank and country flag can appear publicly in global rankings. Ranking responses also include a player identifier and may include a region code. Do not include your real name, contact details or other private information in a nickname unless you intend to make it public.

You can change your nickname and avatar in Edit Profile. Changes synchronize when the service is available; cached displays can take time to update. Character and length checks do not guarantee that all inappropriate names will be detected. To report an inappropriate profile, email us with the game mode and a screenshot. A different nickname does not erase earlier records associated with the same player identifier.

4. Service providers and sharing

We use hosting, analytics, advertising and platform service providers. Information needed to deliver those services is processed by the relevant provider. Public profile and ranking information is shared with people who access the rankings. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims.

The game integrates AppLovin MAX and mediation adapters for Google/AdMob, Pangle, Mintegral, Unity Ads, Liftoff/Vungle and Meta. The providers used for a particular ad can vary by location, availability and configuration. Their privacy information is available here:

Firebase Analytics and Umeng analytics are integrated for app-use and gameplay measurement. See Firebase's privacy information, Google's privacy policy, and Umeng's privacy policy.

Where you use Google Play Games features, Google processes the relevant platform account and gaming activity under Google's privacy policy. Our own anonymous profile is separate from a Google account. Third-party websites and services have their own practices; opening their links may disclose normal connection information to them.

5. Storage, international processing and retention

Our game backend is hosted on OVH infrastructure in Canada. Advertising, analytics and other service providers may process information in other countries. The laws in those locations can differ from those where you live.

Local settings and saved progress remain on your device until changed or removed. Uninstalling or clearing app data does not itself delete information already received by our servers or third-party providers.

Our main raw gameplay-event table is configured to expire events after 120 days, based on event time; database cleanup is asynchronous. This does not mean that all related data is erased after 120 days. Aggregated analytics, profile records, best scores and score-submission records have separate purposes and may remain longer. Profiles and best scores currently have no fixed automatic expiry and are retained to provide continuity and rankings unless removed through a verified request or other maintenance.

Technical logs, support correspondence and backup copies can have different retention needs, including troubleshooting, recovery and legal obligations. A request may therefore require review of several systems. We explain any information that must be retained when responding to a verified deletion request. Advertising and analytics providers apply their own retention policies.

6. Your choices and privacy requests

You can edit your nickname and avatar through the game. Sound and vibration switches control those features; they do not disable analytics or ranking synchronization. The current version does not have a separate switch to opt out of profile and score uploads.

Device-level advertising controls and consent choices presented by advertising providers, where available, can affect personalized advertising. They do not necessarily stop all processing needed to deliver or measure ads.

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your game profile, email flypiggame@gmail.com with the subject Hexa 2048 privacy request. Include the game name, app version, your visible nickname, and a screenshot of your profile and game records if available. These help us locate records, but nicknames are not unique, so we may ask for additional information to verify the request. Do not send your Google password or other account passwords. The current app does not display a copy-player-ID control.

Requests are reviewed manually. We respond according to the requirements that apply to the request; this is not an automatic in-game deletion service. We may need to coordinate changes to your local saved data, because continuing to use the app can synchronize saved records again. Please follow the instructions supplied when a request is processed. Information may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate security or recordkeeping reasons; we will explain relevant limitations.

Depending on your location, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, obtain a portable copy of relevant information, or complain to a data protection authority. Contact us to discuss a request. Third-party providers may require a separate request for information they control.

7. Children's privacy

The service is not directed to children under 9, consistent with our previous policy. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has supplied personal information, contact flypiggame@gmail.com so that we can review the situation and address the information under applicable requirements. The age at which a child can provide valid consent differs by location; this statement does not replace applicable age or parental-consent requirements.

8. Security and this policy page

Our game API and this policy page use HTTPS. No transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security. This policy page does not load analytics scripts, advertising scripts or third-party fonts. Our web server still receives normal request information, such as the IP address and browser request details, when you visit it.

9. Updates and contact

We will keep the current policy at this address and update its effective date when the policy changes. We will provide additional notice where applicable requirements call for it. A stable address does not mean the policy will never change.
